Starting a business

Starting a business is no easy task. Once you decide what type of business and what industry best suites you, it’s now time to do your homework. There are endless number of opportunities available, whether a traditional brick and mortar, franchise or work from home. Your decision will be based on many factors and is certainly a personal preference.

Personally, I enjoy having freedom to control my schedule, my income and my retirement. After spending 20 years in corporate America and being partners in a few startups, I’ve found that network marketing provides the best of all the things I want in a business model.

Starting a business with as little as $500.00, having no inventory, not having to build an infrastructure to handle customers, pay roll, marketing, marketing…etc. is a huge advantage. This allows everyday people, the opportunity to build a business and improve their lifestyle.

The investment I made several years ago starting a business has paid me back huge dividends and was the smartest thing I ever did! My mantra is FREEDOM and that’s exactly what my business has given me. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to live in and travel to some cool places, and the best part, all while building my business.

The best part about having my own business is being able to be a part of my daughter’s life. Being able to spend time with her while she was growing up has been a blessing. Not having to miss those important moments in her life. For me that’s what it all about!

I don’t know what your reason or purpose is for starting a business, but the one thing I would suggest is, build a business that creates leverage and residual income. Those two things will build true wealth that can be passed on for generations to come.
